Mandy's Story of Hope in Waiting

Mandy's Story of Hope in Waiting

"Mere weeks before my wedding day, everything in my life changed. One day I was fine, and the next day I was not. I became incredibly ill. It's been over 2 years, and still to this day I'm fighting for my health. This season has been incredibly painful, scary, and emotional. So many people don't understand, so many doctors don't know how to help, and there are times where it can be hard to find hope.
All of us at some point in our lives will go through seasons of waiting. But the most important part of these seasons is that we don’t lose hope. If you don't have expectant hope -- believing that things will change, it will hold you back from being all that God has created you to be. Hope is rooted in the truth that God does work all things together for our good. Hope leads to joy. Hope leads to strength. Hope leads to action. Hope changes things.

When I chose to truly hold onto hope, my perspective completely changed. I still have a ways to go in my healing journey, but thankfully, I have hope." -Mandy
